Respect our ogres? What?

So here's the convo that was had by my kids:

A: You know D, we need to respect our ogres?

D: WHAT? OGRES?

A: Yeah, you know like D didi, A bhaiyya...

D: Aviiiii, you mean respect our olders!!!

Who's doing that?

We co-sleep. Yes, we still do. Diya is 6, Avi is 5, yet we still do. Trying to get them to sleep in their bunk bed. Will see when it materializes! Anyway, so another one of those nights, Avi with is fetish for our feet is sleeping at the foot of the bed. Atul is up watching a movie when he hears a "thunk." Doesn't think much of it. Hears another "thunk," continues to watch T.V. When he hears avi, still asleep, mumble, "who keeps doing that?" As deep in sleep as he was, he could not fathom who kept bumping his head on the foot board! He didn't say he was sore though :)
