Polar opposites

Have been thinking about this a bit. My kids are such polar opposites! esp. when it comes to dentist visits. Avi had to have an infected tooth extracted, this boy did not wince once! My goodness! I cringe at the thought of all those injections, the drills and whatnot. He also had to have one tooth crowned (root canal) and 4 more filled! I know bad rundown of his soft teeth, but the dentist said sometimes it's not really a matter of candies and juice, etc. It's more a matter of the genetic material, which he, sadly, gets from me.
So anyway, at this last visit, avi actually fell asleep on the chair! He is the BEST patient they've EVER had (they said it not me!) makes me proud. However, here's the polar opposite part...Diya!
She had her last scheduled appt. in July. Avi was there too. He had is X-rays done, not a problem, not a whimper.
She gets in the chair when it's her turn and FREAKS out. Sobbing hysterically, so much so that the hygienist was exasperated and did not seem at all pleased with her behavior.
Oh well...this is where my worry comes in. Comparison. He is quiet, observant. She is a firecracker, hypersensitive!I don't know...should I worry!
