Diya's first day of school

Her first day of school was Sept. 5. Immediately after labor day. My baby has grown up and is now in first grade. Her teacher is Mrs. Moser. Seems like a very pleasant and cheerful person. Just the kind of person who would be great for chiya. She likes her teacher and is doing well in class, quite unlike last year in KG where she got a time-out on the first day of class. But, quite understandably so, she hadn't been in an "official school setting" before and really was not sure of how she should conduct herself.
In my opinion the teacher should NOT have given any of the kids a time-out on the very first day of schoo, come on!
Anyway, she goes to school happy and comes back happy. Big, big heartwarmer for me.
